It is hilarious. Maidana mauled and fouled the **** outta pbf but they never complained about poor ref work from weeks there now he's the worst ref in the sport. Funny how that works.

 

Of course you don't he hit pbf in the back of the head low blowed him kneed him and threw him down. He got a way with murder in that fight but unlike kovalev he didn't quit and went on to win. Kovalev isn't cut from that cloth.

One of the most dirtiest fighters in the world doesn't deserve to be in P4P rating.

Just accept that he doesn't deserve any of the wins over Kovalev.

 

Some say the same about Wlad's reign, that he fouled too much, that he cheated his way to victory in some of his fights, that he didn't deserve the wins over Povetkin, Ibragimov etc. But the facts remain: Andre Ward is the p4p #1 who beat the Krusher twice, Wladimir Klitschko is an ATG HW who ruled a division for a decade.

 

I agree to a large extent, but Ward takes it to another level with his fouling at times. That said fouling alone doesn't make a fighter great, you need more than that. Ward has sublime skill, conditioning, work ethic much like Klitschko to go along with his 'rough house' tactics.

WK isn't even a quarter of the boxer Ward is. Wlad never beat his equivalent of a Krusher. Ever. He never ever came close to beating somebody like that .
Wlad done more illegal fouling in just his fight against Pov than Ward done in his whole career.
