My guess is that in some lists (I'm thinking ESPN here) Ward will leapfrog GGG for #1 after the second fight against Kovalev. But then I'd imagine that if GGG beats Alvarez and does so convincingly, then GGG goes back on top.

It's not going to be easy to displace GGG. Before the Jacobs fight, he had like 23 straight wins by T/KO. And then he faced a great champion in Jacobs, got the knockdown, and got what seemed to be a close but clear win.

 

Certainly Loma is moving up fast. He could the the king of them all soon.

Whats with your constant name calling of fighters and derogatory comments such as yesterdays "I hope he punches his stupid face in". Nothing wrong with strong passionate support for a fighter but I cringe at some of the **** you come out with,tough guy behind the computer. As I predicted, SOB owned the referee and judges, at least two of the judges. When SOB said that neutral judges would not be fair, what was he saying? The video showed that SOB landed low blows and should have been disqualified, he got by with so much crap, the dirtiest fighter I have ever seen period! Those blows were not only low, but SOB landed them on purpose, he threw the blows like an uppercut. I had a very expensive cup, when I got hit with one low blow from below, which pushes the cup up, it hurts like hell and SOB knew it.................SOB wrestled, then landed low blows. Roid Jones was so damned biased, he should be fired. Larry Merchant would have told the truth. The FBI investigation of the boxing in Vegas, a few years ago, should be revived. The boxing commission is a total disgrace. The commission lying about Rigo's three holding and hitting, then a left hook clearly after the bell, showed what was going to happen to the main event. HBO did make the commission look like a fool, he lied about HBO's camerman saying that the punch was before the bell, when it was clear that the punch was after the bell. Why the double standard for Dirrell? Look up Braindamage post where he wished permanent injury on GGG before the Jacobs fight.
