After what Martinez did to Pavlik, Pavlik fans should be very happy Calzaghe choose to fight Jones instead of Pavlik. Calzaghe vs Pavlik would be exactly like Calzaghe vs Lacy.
Is this the first time you've correctly predicted a fight or something? I know it must be difficult to contain your excitement, but multiple threads digging up age-old issues just for the sake of trying to get at Pavlik fans who aren't even online is a little pathetic, even by ESB General standards. Also, I don't think many KP fans actually thought he would beat Calzaghe. The big debate was whether Calzaghe ducked him or not.
Calzaghe-Pavlik would have been like the fight tonight but with Pavlik missing more IMO. I See Zaghe landing more punches then Martinez did but most likely with less juice on them

yea i sat here for about a minute and tried to decide who hit harder and honestly i think its about even. I feel in Calzaghes earlier days he hit harder then he did in the days post Lacy.

I picked Martinez right from the get go and all i got was alot of hate directed at me from Pavlik fans. Look, the guy is very strong and heavyhanded at 160 but that is where his strengths lie. He is a big 160 fighter and it helps him. When he has moved out of the division against Taylor and Hopkins he has looked awful. He is 1 dimensional, pushes his punches and is pretty easy to read. As for Calzaghe anyone who truly though Calzaghe was scared or would have lost to Pavlik....any Pavlik needst o quit watching boxing.
