Going into the first fight, most would have said Golovkin.

    2 fights later, I'm saying it's Canelo.

Uh... the guy that has a 85% ratio perhaps?

The takeaway shouldn't be who hits harder, that's pretty obvious. It should be, goddamn Canelo has a great chin.

Both fighters hit hard and both fighters have great chins.

GGG had Canelo in trouble and I would say hit harder.

    Speed beats power
Also canelo has more tools to land.
Have we ever seen GGG land a Rocket on a former world champion? No. Most of GGG's stoppages are premature or against fringe-contender level. GGG used to be high volume, bust you up gradually, now with age he's losing his best assets.

What makes you think Canelo hits harder than G? Him KOing... Khan? Him KOing... Kirkland? Him KOing... who exactly?

Golovkin stopping a big, durable Murray is a more significant stoppage than anyone Canelo has stopped.

It’s not how hard you hit.
It’s how many people on a boxing forum will argue about how hard you hit that counts.

I'd say it has less to do with GGG's age than it does Canelo upping his dose of 600mg test prop./week to about 1600mg test. prop./week plus 50mg dianabol/day and enough tren to make an entire country's male population suffer from severe erectile dysfunction.

Seriously, when fighters start climbing weight classes like they are steps on a ladder while their power seemingly increases at an even more furious pace AFTER they reached the age where they should have peaked physically, I'd say it doesn't matter much what any test they take says, they're roiding their ass off with way more than clenbuterol and it's not from the beef.

Power is in Forearms and wrist .GGG uses a lot of exercise I used to do. This will generate more direct power. It's something he focuses on.

I'm not sure but last time I checked GGG had 14 inch Forearms at 160? That's not bad ,if I could see what the heavy bag set up each had I could tell you , I haven't seen one gym that really hangs the heavy bags correctly ....they should be used as strength conditions too. But what do I know ? Each to their own

    GGG hits harder.

How about when GGG stopped Ishida?
No one has ever hurt him but GGG nearly killed him

GGG broke Macklin's ribs and it's practically impossible to break the bones of us Brits and Irish because our bones are 35% harder than the bones of non-Brits and Irish and that's a fact btw.

He also broke George Groves ribs in sparring

    And Kell Brook's orbital socket

So GGG has broken the bones of 3 British fighters, one of them a world champion at 168, the other a world champion at 147, and the other was robbed in a world title fight at 160, so that makes GGG a three-weight Brit bone breaker champion

And he hit Martin Murray (who was also robbed of winning a world title at 160, and on more than one occasions in some people's eyes) so hard he lost his memory

Compare that to Clenelo who couldn't break a single bone in blown up 135 pounder Amir Khan's body despite him weighing 190lb, being juiced to high heaven, and cracking him with a savage HL reel Clenbuterol bomb flush on the sweet spot with every ounce of might he had in his artificially enhanced body behind it.

How many of Liam Smith's ribs did he break after dropping him with all those vicious shots downstairs? The answer is zero.

Ditto for ''Rocky From Stocky'' Fielding too.

Clenelo can't even break bones despite the fact that he's on more roids than the winner's rostrum of Mr. Olympia
