Check the video below out: GGG flooring the teak-tough Osumanu Adama with a jab not once but twice. Adama is, or rather was before GGG's jab ruined him, a very hard man. He's from Accra, Ghana. In fact, he hails from a small suburb in Accra known as Bukom which has a long and proud boxing history and for its size punches well above its weight when it comes to producing boxing talent. They breed them very tough over there. Think of a Ghanaian world champion or top contender and there's a good chance they probably hail from Bukom. GGG is the only fighter in recorded history to have stopped Adama. In fact, I think Adama had only ever been off his feet one other time and that was when he fought big punching SMW Donovan ''Da Bomb'' George who's stopped 22 of his 25 victims. GGG stopped one of the toughest, most iron-jawed fighters in Africa, who hails from the tiny suburb of Bukom, a place known to produce the best fighters in the entire continent of Africa, and he completely drove his career into the dirt with jabs. Let that sink in. @ 8:22 and 31:07 for those Asian Chi-force/Russian bear nuclear holocaust power bomb GGG jab KDs This content is protected
Matthew Hatton and Chris Van Heerdan both waxed lyrical about Canelo's power and said that it's the hardest they've ever been hit, either in a fight or in sparring and they've sparred a lot of fighters and ones that were bigger than them too. Slava Shabranskyy said Canelo is hitting like a LHW and Ryan Rhodes said he hits really hard but he isn't the biggest puncher he's fought. Hatton and Rhodes both said he's extremely physically strong though. How hard does Canelo punch? ''Er.. he hits very hard. He does hit very hard. For me, it was more the strength I struggled with.. he caught me with some good shots in the fight. Never really hurt me in the fight, I've got to be honest. But I was a fighter, I'm not saying I was the best fighter in the world, far from it, but I had a very good chin. I could take a very good shot. But of all the guys I've fought over the years, all the guys I've been I've been in with and sparred, it's definitely the hardest I've ever been hit. A real powerful puncher. But for me, I can't emphasize as much at just how physically strong he is. Just incredible. Unbelievable.'' --Matthew Hatton

The guy [Golovkin] hits incredibly hard. Ive been in the ring with heavyweights, cruiserweights, light heavyweights, and I get in the ring with this kid and every time he hits me, I say whoa!'' Ryan Coyne (former CW now LHW) ''Hes a ****** beast, said Coyne, a 20-0 cruiserweight prospect who has recently dropped down to light heavyweight. Hes been running guys out of here. Nobody under 175 pounds will spar with him.'' Ive sparred with heavyweights who can punch, including Mariusz Wach and Mike Perez, nobody has hit me as hard as Golovkin. His power is out of this world. ''I spent my summer up in Big Bear training with Gennady Golovkin who is emerging as the most murderous puncher in the boxing. I watched former champions, light heavies, cruisers, and even heavies get sent home.'' David Imoesiri HW The dude can hit, Im still getting used to it, said Imoesiri, who like Coyne, is delightfully bright and articulate. Its crazy. I sparred with [undefeated WBA heavyweight beltholder] Alexander Povetkin and he never hurt me like this guy.'' I must have done 50 rounds while in camp with Povetkin and it was three and half weeks before he hit me with something that made me hold on. With Golovkin I was ready to get out of the ring 45 seconds into our first round of sparring. He hit me with two lefts to the body in the identical spot and had me doubled over. I got through it but its hard to defend against 6-inch punches with that much pop. He backs me into a corner with just a jab. And it seems like he does it effortlessly. You have to give him credit, because he had a good handle on the situation and it was an honor to meet him in the ring. Even though I lost every round, I wanted to fight on. [Early on] it seemed to me that I was resistant to punches, but eventually they caught up with me. For each subsequent start, I went out out with another plan, trying to surprise him, but he is really great," Proksa said. "I have never felt that type of power anywhere, not in sparring or anywhere." --Grzegorz Proksa 2:56 This content is protected This content is protected

GGG clearly hits harder. Heavy punchers occasionally meet an opponent who have enough durability to fight competitively and last the distance.
Correct me if im wrong, aren't they boxers with first hand knowledge after having fought GGG or sparred him ?? Because all im reading on this forum is how GGG fans are responsible for the craze on GGG's punching power and its exaggerated. Nice to see its a crock of **** and it actually come from fellow fighters
I shall not be correcting you because you are indeed right that they are all professional boxers, many of whom world class ones or world champions or former world champions with first hand knowledge of sharing a ring with GGG and many, many other professional boxers and world champions.
