And...if the answer is yes, which division should be featured?

Thus far, of the original eight, we've gotten down to featuring the featherweights.

Should I run an all-time bantamweight tournament, or go with my orginal plan to do all time tournaments at 140 and 130 first?

Let me know what you think. :good

    I second that.

Would love to do the flyweights and bantamweights as well.

I was thinking of this the other day. I wasn't around for any previous versions. Can you tell me about it or are there archived threads? What's the format? Do posters vote to determine winners?

I think Light Heavyweight is a very interesting division historically. Lots of great fighters but I'm not sure there's a hands down favorite.

I would prefer one of the original divisions rather than a junior or super one ,but I enjoyed those you did. They take us away from chasing our tails on the same old hobby- horses, and provide insight into Champs we may have overlooked. Good luck with which ever one you choose.

So...we've got 2 for bantamweight and 2 for JWW.

    I'm cool either way.

Drew, I don't care which one you do, I think you conducted them all extremely well. There was great dialogue amongst the posters and some great surprises along the way. Look forward to the next tourney.

There could also be done some with more unknowns or overlooked champs in the original divisions. Would give those fighters some well earned time in the spotlight.

Light-welter is clearly the best choice. It's probably the division with the 'hardest to pick' winner. A top 16 would suffice.

Lets do it! I dont mind, light-welter sounds good though, as the top tier is very tight in terms of h2h. Be interesting and we'll get plenty of justifiable putcomes im thinking, insights galore!

I'd like to see a JWW tourney of champions.

Start your list out with the undisputed ones and work your way down to guys who may have only held a minor piece of the title, until you get to 16 or 32 or however many you want.

    140' is a good pick.

the interesting thing would be, is if fighters who weighed in between 135 and 142ish could be considered, even when that division / title went dorment for a while, like sugar ray robinson or Henry Armstrong for example*.

obviously if this was to be done, then the fighters who were allowed in the tournament would have to viewed on how they performed at that weight.
