With all the recent talk about a possible Froch comback next year, it was known he planned to meet with GGGs team at last Saturday's fight.

Two interesting yet wildly contrasting statements have come out on the scene I'm surprised no one mentioned yet.

You have Sanchez saying GGG will fight Froch next year at 172 which is crazy considering "only 164".

On the other side you have Froch who said they told him to his face we'll only do a catchweight under 168 and that they wanted no part of him.

So who is actually telling the truth?

Why would a great proven fighter like Froch lie about someone who's biggest wins are Rubio and Murray?. Common sense.

That's my thoughts on the matter, just surprised no one has brought it up yet.

Because it serves the GGG fans agenda about him being the monster that nobody wants to fight.
I remember when they were praising Froch as the "BIG MONEY FIGHT" for Golovkin now they are against Froch. Fan boy fantasies live at BF24/ESB

Passed on Ward, passed on Lara who can now fight on HBO, talking about passing on Canelo over weight even though he said this year he can make 154, now passed on Froch after spending the last year saying only a big money fight like Froch.

Now that HBO is open to work with anybody the Haymon excuse is gone so now what?
