Lewis is one of few heavyweights that I've seen that couldn't beat a ten count (when Rahman clocked him). Lennox hated to be punched in the face also. Of all the names you listed I'm only impressed with Vitali and Mercer.
They were punches he never seen coming. Bruno banged him good, and so did Briggs. He remained upright, and didn't panic like Wlad does when a good punch lands on him.
I was never impressed with Briggs of Bruno but **** happens. It's always the punches that you don't see coming.
Very true. He went punch for punch with a prime Vitali back in 03. I really can't see Wlad doing that without having another Corrie Sanders moment.
He needs to face a tall opponent nex, because I think he needs a big confidence booster if he's going into another Klitschko fight. Austin, Thompson or Dimitrenko would be suitable. Maybe even A-force! Peter KO Austin Thompson UD Peter Peter KO Harrison Peter KO Dimitrenko I'd love to see any of those fights happen though :thumbsup
Wlad beat up a grandpa Mercer but I give credit to Mercer against Lewis. What's pathetic about that? What's really pathetic is a low life fat **** like Toney running his filthy mouth and trying to challenge the Klitschkos, insulting them in the process. I can just see Toney in the ring with them running around with his asscrack hanging out getting the snot beat out of him and then telling TV cameras he got robbed. That Mr. Euro is ****ing pathetic.
NO home Jerome has comprehension problems because of his hate of the brothers. .. That or he had no idea Mercer had a career before he fought Wlad:yep
All kidding aside, I think Arum is doing exactly what he should with Peter. He is a notorious lazy ass, so if he fights him regularly he will be forced to stay in fighting shape. I think Peter still has a lot of potential in the division if hes focused hungry and in shape. Even with his potential quite a few trainers have walked away from him because of his work ethic.
wasnt for #1 position. Povetkin has that spot but if he doesnt step up to fight wlad... dont be shocked to see sam thrown in there with Povetkin for the #1 spot or even right in with wlad
Listen again, it's more like "neksh" Anyway I think nex for Peter should be someone like Tony Thompson, Tua, Arreola, or another solid top 10 heavy. He needs to stay active and keep his weight down. If he gets back to the sort of form he had in 2005 he would stand a chance against any heavyweight around except Vitali.
