If you think it's funny then check this out...

What did Peter do as an amateur? = NOTHING.

Even a " overweight " Solis is still Olympic Champ, 3 times World amateur Champ and 4 times Cuban National Champion. Even though that that is not the pros it's a tremendous knowledge and experience that no other HV today has, much less even your Peter...:yep

Peter is slow, predictable and easy to hit, Solis will find his face easily all night long, only thing that Peter has is good KO power that also Solis has but besides that, Solis has nothing to worry about...

If ( decent HV Chambers ) beat Peters all night long by easy UD then Solis stops him or does the same...

Peter is still very " overrated "...

I just hope that Solis gets his hands on him...

Solis would likely outbox Peter, perhaps even stop him.

But Solis better stay the hell away from Wladimir, he should be working on catching Vitali on the night father time shows up for Vitali.

Wladimir, Vitali(debatable that he actually has more amateur credentials, but for sure has more knowledge of the game) and more importantly Povetkin have greater amateur and professional credentials.

Peter would lay fat ass Solis out. Peter's got more power, a proven chin, more pro experience against top opposition. I feel the new Sam Peter is a real force to be reckon with. Only the Klits I would favor him at the moment.

Sorry, Peter was down and hurt three times by a guy with a 44% KO ratio, his chin will remain suspect. Once he took heavy leather against Wladimir, but that was then, he was buckled badly in the 12th and ready to go had Wladimir really put the heat on. And do not refer to taking shots against Vitali, Vitali has lost a vast amount of knockout power as he came back, naturally its all good he's relying more on his technical skills than his brute force these days, and gets the job done against the likes of Peter and Arreola, Peter who quit shamelessly, unlike Arreola.

There is no "new" Sam Peter, it's the same crude, slow slugger. Plodding around throwing slow ass looping right hands and can't stay honest with straight punches.

Sorry but Povetkin, Solis, Chagaev and Arreola would all be favored over your boy.

Considering JCG handled Peter with ease in sparring, I would say the more accomplished and natural heavyweight in Solis would not only get win, but the stoppage aswell.

Solis can punch, really, he can.

Did'nt know that Juan Carlos Gomez handled Peter in sparring but that's to be expected. Peter is slow, predictable and easy to hit and you know why? NO AMATEUR EXPERIENCE...

You are 95% right, Solis can really punch and most likely would stop Peter as Solis is a real HV unlike Gomez, and is way more accomplished than Gomez was as an amateur...

But I still believe that Solis can also handle both K brothers, he accomplished more in the amateurs than both of them, even beat the legendary Cuban HV Felix Savon twice and also David Haye. The only thing preventing more fan support for Solis is his " overweight issue ", as if he was really in good shape I am very sure that 95% of boxing fans would think very high of him...

But even weighing 271lbs, Solis is a truck, with very heavy hands, very good speed, accuracy with great combos, and the weirdest thing of all is that Solis does'nt really look that fat " unlike Arreola ", Solis looks " chubby but also very strong...:good

Haven't really made my mind up on Solis yet. He beat a few jouneymen, he looked good and convincing, but we'd need a few real tests to see what Solis can do at pro HW's. I love for him to fight the winner of Adamek - Arreola. A bout with Peter would be awesome, too.

Seems like Sam has a lot of options. It's amazing in boxing how a couple of punches can change your direction from down to up. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch with Wlad. HBO might even show it since Peter ain't American. HBO not interested in showing an American getting knocked out :-(

McCline is a strong puncher, and is a big man at 6'6 270. He is known for his power early in fights. He dropped Brock, Bryd, Grant, Briggs, and Peter. When Bryd was asked "Who hit you the hardest throughout your career?" He said McCline did. He went on to say the punch actually knocked him out, and when he felt himself hit the canvas, he instantly woke back up.

When I say old Sam Peter, I mean his knockout ways seems to be back. Say all you want about Peter, but the man was the last oppenent to drop Wlad, make him panic, and be competitive with him. Povetkin has pussed out twice already when his number was called, Solis is young and fat, disease ridden Chagaev didn't do anything against Wlad. I will say Arreola would make for a good fight against Wlad or Peter, based on styles.
