I'm not sure Alvarado gets wrecked by Guerrero. In fact he didn't wreck 100% shot Casa, got dropped himself. And barely made it out on his feet vs Aydin, who's 2 divisions smaller than Alvarado and worse in every other way
I see you are a delusional *****. You actually think beating Berto justifies a shot at Floyd? Absolutely noone thought Guerrero had a shot, well outside of the *****s here pretending that he was something hes not. I obviously watch a LOT more boxing than you if you think Guerrero is a lot more talented than them. Fact remains the guy is a featherweight, who was small at lightweight and downright fat and slow at welter. He still had only 1 meaningful fight vs a proven damaged commodity that was never good to begin with. I guess you are the type that just goes around how amazing it is that Floyd gets 32+ mil fighting no hopers like you get a piece of it yourself. I'm sorry that i actually like GOOD fights.
The guy is ****ing ******ed i should have spotted that by his username and signup date. Probably just a alt troll.
GGG is too green, Martinez too old and past his prime, Ward has known shoulder problems and a suspect chin. :deal
Well there's a big campaign to big up Guerrero up as an opponent, it's not surprising. What surprised me is Al Bernstein repeating the "6 time, 4 division champ" garbage, without any qualification. I think even on HBO they'd qualify that, or leave the marketing to Lampley.
Buddy, if you like good fights, then why the hell would you want to see Mayweather against Alvarado, Matthysse, or Garcia? You're not making any sense. Let me give you some perspective. Guerrero won 9 total rounds on the scorecards between the 3 judges against Mayweather. To find a fighter who won more total rounds against Mayweather, you'd have to go back to the Oscar fight. That's not to say Guerrero was his toughest fight since Oscar, but it does show how hard it is to win rounds against Mayweather. Guys like Marquez, Cotto, Mosley, and Hatton could not win more than 3 rounds on any scorecard against Mayweather. Matthysse dropped decisions to Judah and Alexander. Alvarado was on his way to losing a decision to Prescott before securing the stoppage. Garcia is slow, flat footed, and wide with his shots. These guys have no shot against Mayweather. If want to say Guerrero wasn't good enough to be in there with Mayweather, that's fine. But don't say that and then come back with names like Alvarado, Garcia, and Matthysse.
Yet all were ranked as the top dogs in their respective divisions and coming off impressive wins. :think
Find me 1 person on this forum outside of the biggest ***** fans that thought Guerrero did better than Cotto vs Floyd. The rest of your argument is even more flawed but ill let you start off trying to defend Guerrero doing better than Cotto.
I'm ******ed yet you think Mike Alvarado is a legit opponent for Mayweather? Be serious. Again, I have no problem if you say Guerrero was in over his head. However, it's laughable to then suggest opponents who would present even less problems to Mayweather.
Nowhere in his post did he state that. He said no one took more than 3 rounds off Mayweather which is the truth.
**** like that annoys the hell out of me, its almost as bad when you hear Lampley commentating and Lederman scoring something completely different to what is happening and you know the fix is in.
Learn to read. Never did I say that Guerrero gave Mayweather a tougher fight than Cotto. I specifically pointed out that I was trying to illustrate how hard it is to win rounds against Mayweather. As well as Cotto performed, he still won no more than 3 rounds on any scorecard.
It was still a good fight, who the **** cares on the rounds? Mayweather had to work a hell of a lot harder to win his rounds than he had vs Guerrero. Your argument is completely pointless and invalid, try again.
