So who presents greater problems for both Devon & Bradley, Khan or Maidana?

I think both would prefer Khan, yes there is a possibility they could be out-boxed & out-speeded but that would be preferable to the absolute unrelenting pressure and 'seek & destroy mentality' that Maidana brings to the ring.

Watching Khan - Maidana, I thought the fight had echoes of Taylor - Chavez and neither Alexander or Bradley want any of that. Which either of them ends up losing their bout at the end of January is going to be in for an absolute war. In retrospect, Khan's complacency/fatigue almost cost him a career-ending beating because up until tenth he was on the whole, controlling the fight with his boxing.

Devon ain't that great a boxer, Kotelnik demonstrated that so he won't be too difficult for Maidana to find & Maidana is happy to take two shots to land his one

Bradley doesn't have the power to make Maidana respect him & is the physically smaller guy so the pressure will be relentless. Maidana also has another curious trait, he drags his opponents into his kind of fight.

Have both guys ever had a stronger incentive to win????

Its hard after seeing the performance from Khan on Sunday morning,

I reckon both could pose problems for them,

but maybe Khan would cause greater problems

Not many people have mentioned it, but could his 8 months of inactivity been a cause for this? For a young fighter who likes to fight 3 times a year, Khan had only 2 fights. Maybe his timing, sharpness and fitness wasn't at its best.

I also noticed the ring was pretty small (maybe it was just me). Granted his footwork isn't the best, but everytime Khan would move away, he'd already find his back touching the ropes and Maidana would close the distance immediately. I don't think that helped his cause.

Maidana for Bradley, Khan for Alexander. I love the kid but Devon was kinda exposed vs. Kotelnik not being able to box with the boxer whereas he had a lot of success vs. coming forward Urango. Bradley could take the fight to Khan to neutralize the speed difference and Amir on the inside lacks the kind of firepower or defense to get the better of Timbo, who likes to brawl a bit. That however would be his undoing vs. Maidana and the Holt fight showed Bradley himself is having chin issues. At one point you get seriously hurt by Chino whether you're winning or losing.

Throw Ortiz and Kotelnik in and all kinds of crazy A beat B beat C beat A results would happen between this 6 LWWs.

Whole heartedly agree, the 140lb division has got to have the most intriguing match-ups of all the divisions. Going to be interesting to see how it all pans out.......

You're British. So why are you looking at it from an American perspective?

Khan is rightly ranked above Alexander.

So surely the question should be, "who presents greater problems for Khan?"

I like to look at match-ups from all angles, nationality/race maybe be important to some, just not me!! Hell yes, I've supported Khan against since his debut and I do believe under Roach he could become Britain's best boxer since Lennox Lewis but HE MUST LISTEN TO ROACH and no more bull**** 'look at me I ain't chinny' rubbish!!

Are you saying Kahn is vulnerable to southpaws??? He spars with the current p4p no.1, Alexander isn't going to be a problem. I'd be more worried about Bradley, especially if he had any power but thankfully he doesn't so it becomes a boxing match.

No thats why i'm saying i want khan to fight him!

Khan will take alexander out! Khan is made to fight southpaw's

He spars with p4p no1, he took ortiz out in amatures and it looks like he will get the warm up fight with judah!

I wonder if the khan camp are thinking alexander is going to take bradley out:blood

Both of them will give a problem. In fact the top 2 in this division may well turn out to be Khan and Maidana. Khan may well face Maidana again.

I wouldn't count out Zab. He could upset anyone of these guys. I think he's a harder fight for Khan than Alexander.
