Cotto makes sense if he can make that with Cotto being free, if Cotto has any sense he'll take the best offer out there

Then there is Marquez 2 and Alvarez or the winner of Berto-Ortiz 2 or Peterson or the winner of Peterson-Khan2 (not that that will happen in time)

Cotto - a very good option.

Alvarez - a good money option. I'm not sure Alvarez' people will let him fight Floyd though.

    Marquez 2, Ortiz 2 - no.

Canelo is the obvious choice, being it's Cinco De Mayo, if they could agree on the weight limit.

But like Lester says, The Alvarez camp would likely keep this from happening. There's no upside, given his age. Too much future income at stake to risk it all for one big payday.

But heck, what do I know? Maybe they'll pay Floyd 200 mil under the table to take a dive. Anything's possible in this sport.

Canelo would be best move. Because Floyd doesn't end fighters careers. He's now some huge power puncher that will be beat canelo to a bloddy pulp for 12 rounds. He will simply outclass him all night. And for Canelo....there is no shame in that.

The problem for Floyd, is that the only decent option is available, is a guy who GBP aren't too keen and sacrificing, and would probably want to be compesnated greatly for it. Floyd's in a desperate state at the moment, and Canelo has the power to demand more than what most fighters would.

That's if Cotto's out of the equation.
