:deal no avoiding from both sides, more a business decision:deal
they will make way more money in the summer in a stadium. i think the luzhniki staidum would be great. 80000 people in moscow. they would make big big money

its about timing, mandatories, TV contracts, stadiums and on and on and on... maybe Bonete didnt want it last year, that doesnt mean he doesnt want it. Wlad has been trying for Povetkin for a long time.

Once povetkin became the WBA regular champ, we all knew the fight would have to happen in time... so why push povetkin yet again in case he didnt show like last time?... better to wait until the WBA demands it... that will insure Povetkin shows up!!

That fight will happen but there is a lot to work out and first off... June, july makes the most comom sense to be able to put the fight in a stadium

To say or insinuate Wlad or Boente is "ducking Povetkin" is a ridiculous statement

What happened with the fight with Povetkin? If that fight fall through, wont Povetkin get stripped?

Solis is a decent warm up for Povetkin in the Summer in that case. Possibly tougher than Thompson and Mormeck depending if he is any shape.

Thanks for posting here. It is great to have an insider's perspective on things. I also liked your appearance in the Klitskcho documentary.

Thats a good argument you make Chef and it makes a lot of sense but wouldn't the contract Sauerland signed 2 years ago insure Povektin shows up.
He could of fought him last summer instead of choosing Wach but waiting till he was a year older doesn't make sense to me.
Also had he fought AP and won he can be making these voluntary defences without taking **** from the WBA and fans as all his other mandatory's are tied up.

Im not sure how he got out of that contract, If I remember right, Sauerland paid back all cash for the 1 presser and they let him off the hook, but dont quote me on it

Povetkin didnt want a fight last year... I still dont think he wants the fight even now but will have to fight to keep the Belt. just because Wlad wants to fight someone like AP, doesnt mean it will happen. many many guys say "NO"
