i think its a good match up for parker.

parker is much taller / faster / quicker legs / power /

he has the advantage in most things in the fight bar experience.

takam is built like a tank and does move his head on the way in but he telegraphs his big overhand right by 2nd class post. /he is quite slow handspeed and footspeed /needs to be in the pocket to get his punches off . his jab is pushed and can be countered/ he is strong /durable/heavy handed/

parker should keep it as long as he can / no need to stand toe to toe / use his handspeed and combos to rat a tat tat on the slow moving takam.

takam despite moving his head is a quite easy target for the dropped in right hand.

if parker marches forward into takam / it will play into takams hands and suit him more .

parker needs a gameplan /a little lateral movement to stop takam getting set and planting his feet to tee off on a big shot / fire of a few quick volleys and then get back out of the pocket before takam can get off ..

from what i have seen of parker he defenitaly has the abilty to do this..

parker is quick and hevy handed and enough of these will wear takam down and stop him in the midway point.

on abilty parkers fight to lose / fight the correct fight and he will make an impressive show.

 

Since according to the knowledgeable forum dwellers Povetkin is JUICED UP TO HIS EYE *****, will a early KO win by Parker would show the division that Povetkins 10th Round PED fight against Takam prove Parker is world class?

The only thing takam had proven is how limited he is, losing to c/b level fighters does not in any fairytale world mean takam "proved" anything except he shouldn't nor couldn't be a problem for a true top 10 hw atm.

If parker doesn't beat takam down in a one sided hewvybag session then he's reached his ceiling which would be the same ceiling takam has proven multiple times that he cannot get over
