Say Fury is out of the way. We now know that he intends to continue. Who does he fight?

Multiple answers are allowed...please take poll.

    Joe Parker
    Deontay Wilder
    Zhilei Zhang
    Agit Kabeyel
    Joshua three-match
    Dubois Rematch
    Jai Opetaia
    CBS
    Octopus Okolie

    Other (Please name)
Ruiz? Canelo? Beterbiev? Badou Jack? Bivol? Anderson? Briedis rematch? Zurdo?

For my money, Joe Parker is the one I want to see. After that Opetaia would be a better fight to me that any other heavy.

Definitely a good fight, but Ruiz would have to earn it for me, and it will take a little more than Miller coming off a loss.

I was half smartassing, but only half. Ruiz is a well of unrealized greatness, imo. But the time of his potential is nearly over. Talent is cheap. Discipline is dear.

Wilder was the interesting fight a few years ago and would have completed his set, but now Usyk won't get credit for it and rightly so since Wilder is near 40 and on the slide.
    Nothing else really matters now.

I still think there is a certain symbolic value in beating Wilder, but it is the same things as Ruiz--he has to earn it.

There is a path here, though. Wilder has been offered a shot at Okolie at bridger. That is a name fight that he can win. It would get him back in the winning column.

    As things stand:
    Parker (WBO) then Kabayel (WBC?)

Opetaia might be interesting, but Usyk would likely have to drop another belt.

Dubois v Joshua is a losers bracket fight so the winner of that should fight Zhang (who similarly needs another good win), and then the IBF might seem more relevant as a reunification with Usyk.

Maybe winner of Bakole v Anderson can challenge Charr to be next up for WBA.

Not sure how Ruiz v Miller winner will fit into all this. Maybe fight the loser of Usyk v Fury 2?

Joseph Parker is the most deserving at this stage. After that, Agit Kabayel and then the IBF titleholder.

Tbh if Usyk defeats Fury in the rematch I’d prefer him to retire with nothing else to prove, however if the lure of the money is too great and he decides to fight on then if anybody has earned the right to fight him based off recent performances then that surely has to be Parker. We all know that a Joshua trilogy would be the MONEY fight but the first two fights where won comfortably by Usyk despite what the biased score cards might portray and it would only be the revenue from the trilogy fight that would actually justify it .

This. Usyk is slowing down and he's not a big heavy. Retirment isn't too far away. Parker is probably the most deserving. But I'd like to see him whoop Wilder.

I'd rather see him retire, than fight on too far past prime.

He deserves to go out on top.

    Parker.

Nobody else really deserves it enough to add much to his legacy.

Wilder's a burst balloon of hype that holds no credit now and would always have aged badly if/when he started fighting other fringe contenders anyway.

Joshua has the resume and is fighting well, but it's been done twice already and convincingly.

Fury 3 holds even less interest than Joshua 3.

Dubois went into his own fight with Usyk intending to try and win by cheating, and would've got away with it if it wasn't for that pesky (correct) referee.

The CW guys coming up maybe interesting up to a point, but is the money really there??

In order of how much I want to see them:

    1) Zhang
    2) Kabayel
    3) Parker

Zhang because I’m a huge fan of his and want to see him get a title shot, even though realistically Usyk boxes smart and uses his superior stamina to win a convincing decision

Kabayel because imo he has the trickiest style for Usyk to overcome. Kabayel’s body shots could be Usyk’s kryptonite, it’s stylistically the most interesting matchup for Usyk

Parker because he deserves it after his recent strong run, even though I think Usyk wins easily.

Only other guy I’d want to see potentially is Opetaia, although I think Jai should have a few HW fights first before going straight into a title fight.

The rest don’t interest me. Wilder would have years ago but he’s shot to pieces now.
