He is the mandatory for the winner of Froch v. Pascal (WBC), but he could fight anyone at 168 lbs, if he wanted to...Kessler, Bute, anyone would love to get into the ring with him. So...whom will he actually end up fighting? I'll make a poll.:good
I think it very much depends on how well Froch and Pascal perform and who wins. The better they both perform, the higher the chance of Taylor fighting the winner, particularly if it's Froch by impressive stoppage, I think. Taylor will see Froch or Pascal as an easier fight than Kessler or Bute. However, I think he is likely to go straight for the top and fight Kessler. He is a proud man and he'd rather lose to the best than someone like Froch, for example.
Fighting and beating Kessler would also give him a belt, but more importantly beating the best 168 pounder.
well, i didn't see the fight but..... i know that whoever Taylor fights, he will definiatly lose i dont think theres a top SMW he can beat Bute Kessler Bika Froch Andrade Green so yeah, i suggest he stick to the lower echelon of the division or fight someone green like Dirrell or Wardd
Exactly to my knowledge last nights fight was an eliminator of sorts wasnt it? Taylor will head for the WBC and may even come here to face Froch as the favoruite.
On a good night when focused I think he beats all these guys, he beats Froch Andrade Bika and Green with ease. Bute and Kessler are tougher fights for Taylor..but this is a guy that beat Bernard Hopkins. Sure he lost to Pavlik, but I think he could have won the rematch with just a little more effort.
