This fight is nowhere near worthy of pay per view, but people will pay for it in their droves, thus guaranteeing that all of Hatton's future fights will be PPV (if Sky have anything to do with it).
Perhaps if people simply said no to these ripoffs, they might stop charging for them.

Anyway, I thought Hatton said this fight was for his fans? Coming from an ordinary working class family he should know that £15 for a fight against a less that first rate opponent is out of order.

Can I afford £15 to watch the best British boxer we have? Of course!
Honestly, I love boxing and I've never not brought a ppv or missed a live tv fight. Let alone Hatton in front of 50,000 in his probably last fight in England. I'm pretty stoked about it actually.

I don't like missing fights either but you have to draw the line somewhere. I just happen to draw it before Lazcano.

I could go on but i dont want to bore people:good

I dont mind paying for fights, its a reason to get me away from my better half for the night.

I wouldn't say so. Lewis was world heavyweight champion and Tyson coming over here and fighting a Brit is bigger than Hatton-lazcano in my opinion.

I think it is ironic that Hatton say's he is giving back to the fan's and then as the cheek to make the fan's pay £15 to see him fight shot bum.

I watch every single fight on tv with out exception. I even watch the dodgy Fondu cards on Eurosport but I can not see myself buying this. £15 is a rip off for the fighters and fights we get to see.

    I'll be buying it.

And I know Hatton haters will cave in at the last minute in the vain hope that he loses.
