Can't do it. It'd have been a different story before, but this has all the trademarks of a passing of the torch kind of fight (if we ignore that Fury actually had it, which most of boxing seems to be doing)
hmm? when has post-steward wlad ever been unprepared, unfit or lacking in training/camps? you can question his chin and conservative approach but you can't ever criticize klitschko for his preparation and training. i'm picking wlad
Put your money on both fighters being knocked down at 14/1. Mark my words. Joshua is going to win late. If you can put both fighters to be knocked down and AJ to win between the 9th-12th then do it!
Hey, unlike some self proclaim 6 digit perannum salary earner here, I don't make that much Nah, just do it for fun bro. I do not inflate numbers lol.
I just think, how can anyone survive those attacks AJ can do when you're on the ropes. Similarly how will Joshua react to being hit? From memory I think even Molina got a couple jabs through, and Wlad has a viscous left hook which Whyte proved AJ doesn't like being hit by! The more I think about the fight the more I change my mind! I think Wlad will outbox AJ quite easily but he's gonna struggle to clinch and push etc, since Joshua is so big. But eventually Joshis will hit Wlad and KO him! Won't surprise me if we hear the fight "Klitschko made the blueprint how to beat AJ!!" Cos it could be a real boxing lesson up until the KO!
If it goes 12, he will get it. The fight is in England after all, Wlad will be lucky if the ref doesn't sucker punch him when breaking up the clinches.
There are too many unknowns to pick a winner for this fight, but I will not be surprised if Vlad stops Joshua..............if Whyte can stagger/hurt Joshua, Vlad can knock him out for sure. Vlad is superior to Whyte, if Vlad is 75% he will win, but don't know if he has anything left. He is looking really good in camp though.................so, Joshua is young, Vlad is 41, Vlad seems confident and has the experience............Vlad is very strong, a little taller than Joshua, moves better, better defense, pretty much everything, except age. So, we have two punchers in this fight, one punch can end it, defense will play a big role, plus Joshua has a rematch clause which show he is not 100% sure of himself, he remembers the sparring sessions not all that long ago..........
People as too easily won over by fighters like AJ who knock over a few bums with highlight reel KOs. The kid has potential but if Wlad is even half of his prime self he should get past a fighter like AJ quite comfortably. Maybe he's shot though, we don't know yet.
I'm picking Wlad to take him the distance and probably get jobbed on the cards. I think Josh is going to look good in the early rounds, maybe shake Wlad up a bit, then Wlad's natural composure takes over and he begins to break Josh down in the later rounds. Well, honestly I have no idea what's going to happen in the fight, but that seems as likely a scenario as any other.
I am picking Wlad to win. I am terrible at picking fights, and am not overly confident in this pick (or any pick for that matter). But I think Wlad's style and big fight experience will serve him well. My worthless 2 cents... This content is protected
Here we go ^ Wlad's age is somewhat balanced by Joshua's favourable style and inexperience. I would in no way bet a plugged nickel on this one.
