Like the people who call Hopkins a *****.:patsch
Let's see one of them do six full years in the garage then come out and make a success of their life like he has and say how much of a ***** he is.
Boxers can quit when they shouldn't and do let people down but coward and ***** are words which shouldn't come into it.

Exactly. The majority of these ****ers have probably never stepped a foot near the ring. It's not to say that they wouldn't, but they would be ****ing shitting themselves before hand, that's a guarantee.

Yes, boxed for like 2 years non stop 5 days a week from when I was 15-17... I tried to imitate Barrera as he was my fav when growing up, then was in love with fighters like Mayweather and Marquez... reason I still watch to this day.. I love boxing cause I grew up watching it with my dad, and got into it as a teen and actually experienced the fun that is boxing.

fought amaterus a couple of times not gonna lie and say I was the best.. just fought a couple times and lost twice... ****ing pressure fighters I was good at outboxing but when mother****ers would pressure me.. I wasnt the best...

Another quick question. If you have in fact boxed before, why even associate the word ***** with another boxer?

Abril has had over 200 amateur bouts. He is a successful pro. He's not even close to being a '*****', or having a '***** style'.

Doesn't that experience make you less inclined to call boxers pussies?:huh
The reason I hate the word coward being used is because I saw a young boy(maybe 10) sparring another kid.He tried like **** even though he was getting his ass handed to him.I thought he was brave as **** but when he came out,his dad slaughtered him,and even though he tried very hard to hold the tears back, they made their way out.
I decided that very day I would choose my words more carefully about boxing.

I don't like the style, serious answer I appreciate the mayweathers the brooks the Moreno's even broner.. but I just can't fall in love with that style... I've always associated hugging clinching running with that word... sorry if It get's on your nerves or head... but I just never liked it... It frustrates me. That's about it, don't know what to say else.

Leave it at that then. :conf

The way you say that style always gets on your nerves. The word '*****' and 'coward' associated with any boxer, gets on my nerves. But, oh well. :good

I really wouldn't want to pay to see him again. Abril lost because two judges deducted points for his excessive holding. A judge has the right to do that even without a referee's request. They also felt that Abril was fighting to survive and not to win. He was overly defensive and they gave Rios credit for his aggression and for a higher number of punches landed. Like it or not that is why Abril lost. I originally gave Abril 9 out of 12 rounds but I can see a judge deducting points from Abril even if I wouldn't have.
