Been out of the loop for a while on this whole saga and there's lots of talks about ducking this ducking that... What actually happened? It seemed like the fight was almost expected after Maidana and Alexander.

Think Bradley is moving over to Top Rank and will be fighting Manny after Marquez. I know hes moved to Top Rank, so I think its to fight Manny and with the current state of GBP-Top Rank relations...

Well, good move for Bradley I guess, but it kinda ruined the 140lb drama. Bit of a shitty thing to do for that weight class tbh.

Well I guess he needs to do whats best for his own career and that would be take a stab at Manny Pacquiao why that option is available. It has sort of ruined the whole 140lbs drama as the fight with Manny must be at 147 surely. So we have Khan, then a guys like Alexander, Maidana, Judah, Matthysee etc in a sort of sub group. I think Khan would have decisively beaten Bradley but hey...takes that edge away from what was a year ago one of boxings brightest divisions.

Of course, it's the smart personal decision. Sucks for Khan though, seeing as how there's a lot of beltspace that Bradley owns and i would have liked to have seen a unified title. Oh well, maybe we'll see him eat zab judah?

Apparently, Gary Shaw said Tim Bradley balked at the deal, but Steve Kim will have a story up later today on Tim Bradley's side of the story.

 Hopefully, we can see Zab finally thrown into the pit of boxing irrelevance were he should have found himself post-Baldomir or a rematch with Maidana even if he managed to take the most unskilled boxer of the decade award in his fight with Morales...yet he somehow did much better against Khan than Morales who looked like a fat old pigeon. This discussion just got depressing.

I think either one or combination of these are the reason why Bradley and Khan won't fight on July 23. Bradley is guaranteed $1.1 or $1.2 million as part of the rematch clause HBO gave to both fighters in their next fight which is really DUMB and Team Khan offered Tim $1.3 million plus 50/50 split on UK revenues. Bradley thinks he can make easy $1.1 million by fighting a cab driver so why fight Khan? The 2nd reason is that, if Bradley fights Khan before his contract with whoever that manager was (Shaw?) expires he has to sign an extension which I think Bradley is avoiding cause he wants to go to Top Rank Badly hoping to get a payday with Pac... It's the only possible explanation why in Bradley's recent interview he said "I let Khan escape".. :good

Timmy is tired of fighting for peanuts. amir offered 1.1M for a championship unification bout? It's Pacman or Mayweather at WW. Or Maidana or Erik Morales time at Jr.W. Why not a rematch with Devon?
