So why exactly is Golden Boy protecting Wilder?

    Besides them protecting him because he can't take a punch and are just delaying the inevitable, do they not realize that he'll never make it mainstream even if he becomes champion due to him being a convicted woman beater? It's obvious why there wasn't a trial, the woman and prosecutor must have gotten paid to drop the suit. It's not the 80's and 90's where most of the USA becomes a fan of thugs, those days are long over. He'll never become a popular boxer, it's a shame that Seth Mitchell doesn't have a chin because he could have at least been good for marketing. Wilder will get no endorsements and no TV airtime, no woman will want to be near him.

    Those are the facts.

    Moral of the story, don't be a violent thug outside the ring, keep it inside the ring.
