He has solid wins over 5-6 top 10 fighters, with one embarrassing defeat to Wlad K. Compared to all other contenders of the last 10 years (Haye, Pulev, Wilder and many others) Povetkin's track record looks very solid.

So in my estimation Povetkin is one of the best contenders of the 2010s era. Tell me how is that overrating him compared to other HWs of the current era?

 

Let him fight another bum and then make him fight Povetkin.

No, I am not surprised at all, in fact, I expected something like this to happen. Wilder appears to be almost in tears when the WBC made Povetkin his mandatory. Wilder had been begging the WBC to cancel the fight the whole time. So, how do they get the fight cancelled? You've just seen one way they are trying.....................Wilder claims he will give up the WBC title if he is forced to fight Povetkin, so now lots and lots of propaganda................Wilder will fight another easy fight, yes, it will be Wilder's fourth voluntary defense..............in a row!
