I always get given **** for starting threads like this so I'm glad you've started it. I think Buffer will probably MC with HBO picking it up. I hope Buffer does it anyway because Froch deserves the Buffer treatment in my opinion.

I know fighters have to be introduced to the crowd but the whole process seems to be getting longer and more protracted, it can't be good for the fighters who have pumped themselves up in the dressing room but then have to wait 10 minutes in the ring whilst some no mark spouts on about ****.....Don't even get me going about national anthems :-lol:

For the record I like the Canadian fella who does Channel Five only because of the way that he pronounces Fury....Fyureeeee

 

I'm with you on that one. Ten minutes of ring walks etc. and the fight could be over in half a round.

 

When Haye faced Mormeck, I think I remember them doing the national anthem for the freaking referee!

 

Agreed. Seems like half the people only tune in to watch Buffer announce the fighters these days, "it ain't an event unless Buffer's the mc" I prefer watching the fights personally.
