i certainly hope not. mayweather sr. has supposedly "tweaked" a few things so hopefully the holding thing is one of them.

Yes, mostly after plan A is gone out the window after round 5-6

Of course. It's his defence mechanism.

Also, he gets tired quicker now and reverts to it even more. Expect this to be some ugly ass **** through 10-12.

He might, based on habit and method. But in actuality there shouldn't be alot of logistical need. Malignaggi isn't particlarly equipped to fight well on the inside. Hatton doesn't have to worry very much about damaging counter strikes once he gets there. Malignaggi, in fact, might be doing alot of holding, like he did against Cotto.

He held less against Lazcano then he did previosly. Still hung on a bit too much now and again though.

Of course. That's how he fights.

He's not going to come out fighting like Sweet Pea just cause he's got a new coach.

    This is also true.

I've noticed Malignaggi loves a good clinch.

Both guys will be doing their share of holding.

I just hope this fight doesn't stink.

There never was any hit and hold Hatton, you guys exaggerated his style to make it seem that way
