Never being stopped is the only thing left in Kevin Johnson. I imagine this will be his final match up with that status. I do respect him though, he could have gone being another Shannon Briggs.
No he won't. This fight was picked for him to go the distance and comfortably so, it's a decent test and Johnson is the perfect sandbag for it.
Nope... Anyone who says he stops Kingpin "easily" is either Brit****ed, or hasn't followed Johnsons career. The man is not easy to stop. He fights to survive, not win.
This is accurate, Johnson knows how to survive onslaughts. Joshua won't stop him. This is a fight where Joshua should look good, there will be absolutely no incoming he has to worry about. he can tee off with his a.r.senal not worry about getting countered. Johnson knows how to ride shots, turn shots, move ever so slightly, he won't get stopped.
Only Johnson has is his jab. Once upon a time, it was followed up wiht a R hand, but those days are long past. Lately it's jab, cover, roll, then wrap. Fury teed off on him without Johnson so much as offering a counter. I think AJ has more single handed power than does Fury, but I think Fury is the smarter fighter. That said......KJ has offered little to suggest he will produce any offense in this fight, and I could very well imagine a referee will stop the fight if KJ takes 4-5 unanswered shots on the ropes or in a corner, especially if it's rds 7-9 and it appears AJ is fading a bit or laboring in his breathing. :think
Johnson will still be on his feet when the TKO is called. KJ will claim he wasn't hurt while the commentators will be hating on the ref for not stopping it sooner.
Honestly, even if he does it doesn't really matter much. Johnson is an atrocious boxer who has been vastly overrated by the legion of K2 *****uckers who reside on this forum. He's garbage.
I'm not convinced Johnson will withstand the power of a Joshua punch. He also rains them in fast too. Unlike a lot of other fighters in the division, when Joshua starts firing punches in if you look hurt, he throws a lot of them in very quick time. I can see Johnson being stopped on his feet within 6 rounds.
