The WBA won't force Sturm to fight Golovkin. Golovkin would most likely beat him and he has no fan base. It doesn't suit the WBA to force Sturm to fight Golovkin.

 

Yeah that's great. It would be great if RTL will broadcast's the Golovkin fight live and tries to hype Golovkin vs Sturm. If Golovkin KO's Simon Live on german TV and calls out Sturm after the fight then Sturm will be under heavy pressure

This is not going to be any kind of blow out thou if he Fights Sturm.

Sturm is very good techinician and pretty tought Boxer too. He should not be judged how his last fight went against Mackling. If Sturm rematches Mackling he will beat Mackling Handily.

 

I think so too. I believe Sturm had a bad day. Yet, I still think he won fairly.

I agree. It was close Fight And i had Sturm winning by narrow decision.

For me it looked like Sturm was not well prepared for this Fight not sure why. Either unfocused or underestimated Mackling. However, the Fight went Mackling teeing of Sturm at early rounds Sturm not doing much. when then Fight progressed towards middle rounds Sturm Figured out Mackling and started to pick him apart throwing and landing the cleanest blows on the Fight. I was pretty amazed how long it took from Sturm to Figure Mackling but he did it. last rounds were great. If the Fight had gone one more round or lets say Sturm started to Fight back earlier he could have very well stop Macklin there.

Lets be honest here Sturm is hated guy and party for a reason.. Everybody wanted to see Sturm losing no matter in which manner had he lost the Fight. You dont Win the Fight Throwing alot of punches which most of them landing on your opponent gloves, elbows.

Sturm is skilled and smart Fighter with great techincal skills.

 

Wlad is right. Sturm lost his last fight.

Great to see Golovkin in Düsseldorf.
