with them being scheduelded possibly 3 weeks apart i cant see loads going to both.Out of the 2 of them i think calzaghe will be the bigger loser of the in the sense of crowds

Im planning on going over for the calzaghe fight

Yup, the football lot will be going to watch Hatton. They probably don't know who Jones is.

I think they have differing fans - not many would go to both anyway

I think the Hatton event will be better because the undercard is likely to be stronger generally, suppose people will look at the cards and make a choice.

Both will win pretty handily anyway

Stick your cash in your ISA and wait while next year for some proper fights, hopefully

I doubt it will make any difference to the respective crowds, they would probably be different demographics.

i.e. Hattons are a bunch of dart chucking lunatics.

Just ignore him. You can't blame him for being bitter when he's paying extortionate money for beer & the missus aint putting out.

He's just butthurt because I picked Cotto to beat Hatton at any weight - as unreasonable as it is.

The price of beer is proportionate to wages so I don't care + the misses is a stunner :hi:

    Ok.........

I have issue with your lack of objectiveness in relation to Hatton, on most other subjects you are fairly accurate - but next we will be hearing that Peter Buckley would scrape a SD from Ricky!

If you don't like someone fair enough, but why bother wasting your time talking about them?

I don't know why I'm mad - but its got really hot

I've never let any emotions get in the way of my picks, Hatton or otherwise. If that was the case I'd pick Malignaggi to tap his ass, but I know it ain't gonna happen no way no how.

Pacquiao will beat him though, mark my words.

I see your point regarding Pacquiao, but don't really agree.

I see it being one hell of a war, with Hatton wearing Pac down and stopping him, probably whilst behind on the scorecards.

Diaz was a handpicked opponent, hence the outclassing and KO - but Hatton is far from handpicked. The leading 140lb'er with a style that no other 140lb'er has really got to grips with before - and he has never looked like losing, if brutally honest.

If Pac beats a top 3 lightweight and shows good power - I may start to come round, but beating the likes of Diaz doesn't convince me.
