I don't blame you - I've only just recently come round to Pacquiao beating Hatton at 140. It looked ridiculous for a while, but Pacquiao keeps putting on the weight and retaining his speed without looking at all flabby, regardless of the opponent.

Speed kills. He'll be in and out like a little buzsaw, and although Hatton is fast for a 140lb fighter he'll look very cumbersome. Pacquiao just doesn't need to be getting involved in the clinches and worn down, and his speed and the southpaw stance that always caused Ricky problems will mash his face up. Cuts will be an issue with Pacquiao's punching style.

I hope Calzaghe fights Roy Jones in cardiff

might go up then - only a 30 or 40 minute drive from Swansea to Cardiff

have a few pints in the Cardiff bars and then walk up to the arena to see the fight

pherhaps local fighter Enzo Maccarenelli will also be on the undercard

Colin Jones be up there too - doing commentary work for Radio Wales - he lives by me - 200 metres down the road

I will post a picture soon of a photo shot from behind my back garden that captures the back of the gym

Jones still there to this day - training local young lads

I been speaking to a guy on YOUTUBE who use to train at the gym in the 80's and he said he gonna post a video for me soon on YOUTUBE of them training in the gym and it shows Colin Jones training behind my back garden - I will post this video on this site too as soon as he puts the video on YOUTUBE

I almost forgot Manny is a southpaw :patsch

I would back a flyweight southpaw to give Hatton a headache - but then again Manny isn't exactly slick, Ricky won't have to go looking I wouldn't imagine.

Hatton would hurt Manny to the body and stop him.

He would wrestle him around the ring until he had him where he wanted him.

Pac isn't that good in my eyes and lost against Marquez and beat a guy in Diaz, who himself had lost to Morales earlier.

Im a Pac fan, but i dont think he's god like some.

A Morales who was shot to bits :deal

I haven't seen the fight - but have heard enough reports.

Pac is a puncher - Hatton hasn't really been troubled by punchers that much, though Pac isn't as limited as the punchers he has faced thus far.

I see a Hatton stoppage - Pac will give Ricky a few headaches but won't have faced anyone with as much power and will suffer.

If the Limond v Salita fight stays on the Calzaghe undercard I think its a real bonus for anyone going to see that bill.

This is one of those ones I'm getting a gut feeling on to bet some serious cash. I usually make conservative bets, but I have a feeling this is the one, and I'll get even money.

Last time was Casa-Katsidis, which was a bit of a rollercoaster but we got there eventually :yep

Hatton will get the most people going over there because of the lager louts and the fact that England has a much bigger population than Wales.

But I can guarantee you this. There will be more genuine fans supporting Calzaghe than there will be Hatton.

Thats not knocking Hatton in any way it's just that half of the fans he attracts probably don't know much about boxing and some probably don't even care if he wins they will just be out for a good time. I wonder how many times we will hear that horrid "Hatton Wonderland" song whether he's winning or getting his face smashed in?

And to answer the original post I will be going along with my mates to the Calzaghe fight. I'm just glad I didn't book the flights before the postponment!

Lets just hope Pac doesn't end up fighting DLH in a pathetic sideshow instead.
