I don't think Pac does peds. I give him the benifit of doubt. But what baffles me is that Pac was said to have to eat 7000 calories a day in order to even move up in weight. But its also said that Pac was weight drained in his fights vs Morales and Marquez right before he moved up.

Why are there always conflicting reports on almost everything his camp says and does?

yes he was indeed drained to the bones. it was highly documented in the reports during his training camps. The reason why he accepted to fight JMM @ sfw is coz of the belt.

So if he was drained then why did he need to eat 7000 calories a day in order to move up in weight?

That's cool, I think you can definitely make the case he was at the very least not as strong from having to make that weight the day before the fights. Yeah, the only fight he looked pretty terrible in was the second Barrera fight. I still feel like he and Marco had an agreement not to put it on each other too hard and Barrera could finish the fight, but when he punched off the break Pac's reaction REALLY surprised me.

I thought the second JMM fight was a stellar performance.

I guess to maintain his weight in camp? That doesn't make sense to me, either. I don't know how these guys gain 20 pounds in one day. Does he eat a lot that day in addition to being rehydrated? Why would he bounce all the way up to 145 if he was at a caloric deficit of like 5000 calories instead of actually losing the muscle tissue instead of just being dehydrated? I don't know.

Pacman burns a ton during the camp. He will not make the weight-in if the supplement weren't there.

His walk-in has always been consistent.

But we are concerned about how his walk in weight isn't much lower with a caloric deficit. every 2500 calories is, I think, the equivalent of a pound of tissue. His walk in weight the day of should be significantly lower, the body is catabolising itself. Its not just dehydration to make the weight when there is a significant caloric deficit sustained over a great period of time.

Meaning that if he is starving in camp, his actual muscle tissue is being "eaten" by his body for energy. So he shouldn't be able to rehydrate all the way up to his "normal" weight without building it back naturally over time: his body has "consumed" it. But he IS always coming in at like 145 -148, I just don't understand their rehydration procudure, and whether its different now that he can just kind of walk into the fight.

I see. That's why pacman love Welter, he gets to eat all he wants. However pacman trains like a madman and even play basketball after gym hours, so his body needs something to burn.

You seem knowledgeable in this area.

In my case I am already stretching it.

If he was already cutting a lot of weight to make 130. For example say he was cutting say 15 pds. Making his walk around weight 145, Why would he need a 7,000 pd calorie diet to make WW? If he had to consume at 7,000 calorie diet on top of a walk around weight of 145 only to end up at 142-146 at weigh in. Then there is no way he would be weight drained at 130. Something has to give.

Training camp burns even muscle tissues?

Gotta feed that body some fuel to burn otherwise he'd be back to LW.

the same reason why that swimmer had to eat 10,000 calories a day. These guys work full-time in the gym, and they train hard. Those calories get burned off quick.
