    Who's looking forward to next saturday?:bbb:ibutt

    Seemed like ages since I watched any top-notch, world level boxing. But then I remembered that Matt Hatton fought only last week (boom-boom).

    But, just look at this card:

    Juan Manuel Marquez v Juan Diaz II (oh yeah)
    Danny Jacobs v Dmitri Pirog (bitchin!)
    Sakio Bika v Jean Paul Mendy (Nice)
    Jorge Linares v Rocky Juarez (Woohoo!)
    Joel Casamayor v Robert Guerrero (yippee)

    Plus George Groves and that Frankie Gomez prospect.


    Gonna be a great night.

    Thoughts, predictions etc.

    cannot wait. JMM time. So glad these two are going back for seconds. First fight was brilliant. The undercard and the fights next week have got me buzzing. We had a lull now it picks up again.

    I'm really looking forward to that Jacobs-Pirog fight.

    -My man JMM via decimation. I just hope it's at least half as exciting as the first.
    -Jacobs UD.
    -Linares-Juarez is the most intriguing fight on the entire card, IMO. Linares UD.
    -Casa UD. Great to see Guerrero back full-time after he's been tending to much more important things, but I think he's pushing the weight jumping now and I reckon Casa is going to outsmart him in the last great performance of his outstanding career.
    -Groves gets his ten minutes on HBO via a one-sided TKO.

    I honestly cannot wait. Brilliant card. Hopefully JMM sees sense and stays at 135 after his win, though; I pray he takes a Katsidis or the Soto/Barrera winner. If he loses, then it's JMM-Diaz III:bbb.

    Well that's the card, so if a few of them finish early we could get to see quite a lot of the action.

    yep agreed, for hardcore fans it's got heads turning from main event. the future of middleweight boxing, Could be one of best fights of year...hope it is.

    I think Guerrero might just have a bit too much for an old Casa though. But I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way. Its a hard one to pick, like so many of the fights on this bill, which should mean a good night of boxing lies in store.

    How good is this Mendy chap, anyone know?

    I see he's unbeaten (1 draw, against Hanshaw), but don't think I've ever seen him fight before. Will Bika be a bit too much for him?

    Ya really looking forward to it, especially Jacobs/Pirog. What a great fight to have on an undercard, two young up and comers in a career making fight.
