Booze is making the lad weak in the head. He can't take a blow any more.
Easy money. The lure of easy money is very , very alluring to EVERYONE.
Why do people gamble then ---Easy Money. Hatton and the rest of these fighters love the easy money. Where else can a guy with little or no formal
education make huge money for a few minutes of doing what they are trained to do. They all think they are lucky to resist a fatal bow to the head. There IS such a thing as a fatal blow to the head. When the skull hits a dashboard, a bathtub or anything it is harmfull.
Hatton or his dad is now promoting boxing in a major way. Huge money can be made by promoting fights in such a major way. Hatton is not the shapest knife in the drawer. He needs to dry out to see he already has
the gift of life and the position in promotion to make all the money he will ever need.

    quite the philosopher.

you need to drop into his local boozer (if he's there) and indulge Ricky.

Just shows that the down to earth local lad, despite having tens of millions, can never have enough. An honest enough and decent career but still wants more.

There's nothing wrong of course, but at least the Mayweathers of the sport don't market themselves as anything other than materialistic, shallow money making vultures chasing maximum yankee dollage. With Hatton I thought it was all about pound for pound titles and prestige?? maybe not...

But what sort of fighter would Wicky be if he didn't try and seriously injure himself in the ring?

    Put your mortgage on it!
