Really. They have a multi year exclusive TV deal with Sky. What position are other promoters in if it's make or break for matchroom?

The fact is Joshua's stock is huge at the minute. Its doesnt matter who he fights it will sell. He is a crossover star, like him or not.

People will buy it but the danger is that AJ will become a laughingstock.

Frank Bruno was hugely popular always (and if PPV was around in those days they would have sold his fights on that platform) but that didn't stop people savaging his fights and calling them farces.

People buy rubbish all the time. Some of the best selling hit records have been universally condemned as sh!t. Some of the biggest blockbuster movies are reviewed as sh!t. And even the people who happily buy these things laugh about them a few months later and admit that they are sh!t.

There has been an additional release of tickets for this on AXS, can easily get 6 together still, granted, cheapest is £150 and upwards (can even get 2nd row ringside at £500 a pop) - my guess is that the Stubhub allocation has simply been moved back to AXS.

The bit in bold being the operative word.

    I hope you're not a detective, you're pretty **** at it.

Of course not, if you're stating facts, however you're merely assuming.

It'll be sold out just as the last one was.

i'm going to write a big post in its own thread and i'll explain it.

It's not to do with sky - it's to do with fans interest due to recent cards/disappointing fights

and as I said in my post - the ripples will affect the whole of british boxing. Just like no bank is an island in a financial crisis

Joshua is a favourite vs Fury as well. Do you agree with those odds?

If buys are low. Groves vs Murray build up will sell it

Joshua is the casuals flavour of the month and it will probably still do decent numbers on PPV.

It is another terrible fight for PPV and a joke of a defense even if it wasn't on box office.
