The sales job SKY did with the Martin fight was one of the best of all time.

Unbeaten, can punch, unknown, southpaw, the casuals bought it big time and even I bought into it a bit. Not sure they can pull off another con job so soon after the last one.

 

What's particularly annoying is Eddie going on and on about the Groves Murray fight like everyone has been dying to see it lol. A fight between two losers at world level with boring styles, hardly a fantastic chief support for a Pay per view....

 

don't think you call groves a boring style... its so offensive he has mastered the basics of boxing

I think Hearn and Sky have misjudged the paying public, people will pay for a fight (even a mismatch) if the fighters are entertaining, there is genuine ill feeling or have engaging personalities but this one is none of the above.

Breazeale has zero charisma and Joshua sounds slightly special needs with his slow droning voice and his efforts to be the new Frank Bruno are boring and predictable.

Fury for all his faults, for all the stupid things he says now and again is at least entertaining and engaging, love or hate him he is worth watching because you just don't know what he is going to do next.

It's a mismatch and a mismatch that isn't interesting on any level, I can't think of any reason to buy it and I even bought Haye Vs Harrison.
