I would. I like Louis as the clear winner by knockout early and effectively.

Marciano is up there too, definitly. Liston could be arguebly. Foreman is lightly behind imo. Tyson isn´t a better finisher than Dempsey. Can´t really see it.

Nah, I think apart from Tyson those others are slower than Dempsey.

I don´t rank Dempsey very highly, I rate him behind Schmeling and Patterson but h2h the Dempsey who fought Willard is one of the best hws to ever lace them up. That is one of the few one of a million performances like Frazier against Ali the first time or Duran against Leonard the first time, or Patterson against Johannson the second time - even so on a lesser level.

mind explaining how dempsey had faster hands than charles, walcott, tunney? I certainly don't see it. Charles had lightning fast hands.

So, did Dempsey. Watch the fights we have of his in his prime, not the late one. That´s the Dempsey we talk about.

I dont know who would win.
I dont see it going longer than 4 or 5 rounds maximum though. This would be brutal explosive stuff, no pitty-pat bull****.
