You got conned by Hatton's constant talk of learning new skills and having a new approach to fighting. I suppose we all kinda felt he did, but like some others, I was never convinced he changed all that much, and I was bored by Hatton's constant use of the Malignaggi fight as evidence.

So, of course, Hatton had a chance - if he was going to use these supposed new skills tonight. But Roach was right. Once hatton got punched in the face, he was always going to revert back to type.

It had **** all to do with dieting and being in good shape, and all that ****. You're delusional if you think that was the case.

Hatton reverted to type and got knocked the **** out. It's not about him not eating salad.

The opponent is what was wrong with hatton, gameplan was also wrong with Hatton. Mainly over-confidence. He thought he was too big for Pac.

Hatton's thinking Mayweather jnr is a greater and bigger stronger fighter than Pac, so he used the same tactic of charging in to bamboozle Pac. It worked vs Floyd for a good few rounds but that was only because Floyd likes to run. Pac doesn't run, he side steps you and whack you.

Too bad just before the fight started he admitted in an interview that he just made that prediction to try and get to Mayweather Sr. He said really how he knew Fatton would make it last

So, whats God got against Ricky Hatton then?

Great career, time to move on to other things.
(I hate the idea of his little boy watching that KO...not good)

Yeah, everyone that Pac faces just mysteriously has the worst night of their lives. Fighters turn shot overnight when they face Pac. It's all luck!

It must really suck to be a Pac hater. Time and time again, you watch him fight hoping this will be the time he'd lose.... and time and time again he crushes you and leaves you in a puddle of disappointment and worthlessness. Go ahead and cry yourself to sleep tonight, you whiny hoe.

Ricky Hatton was the defending champion for 4 years at that weight, undefeated at that weight, and just came off a brilliant performance against Paulie. No excuses.

I agree w/ the other replies- Ricky Hatton came in the fight as classic Ricky Hatton- straight ahead volume/pressure puncher, with his shoulders squared up. After the 2 knock downs in the 1st round- you could tell Hatton basically lost all his confidence. He was outpunched, out-speeded, and outlanded. He looked lost and confused. The end was just a matter of time.

what the hell are you talking about? I didn't see it, sure he may have sliped a jab here or there but for the most part it was the same old Hatton against a bum in Malignaggi

Hatton is Hatton, great guy, good fighter but he was outclassed.

Nah he just got embarrassed by a former 120 lb fighter. Hes no where close to being as good as the hype around him
