Yes people seem to forget he was stunned by both Dirrell and Taylor . 2 guys who are not known for their punching power . Good chin but nowhere near iron .

Your post pretty much praised Froch, you said he is a fool who boxes with his hands at his waist yet he out boxed the quick and slick dirrel with his hands down

Ward wins easily. Too much speed and skill.

But the fight will always dream about, thoug it will never happen, is Calzaghe-Ward,. I think Calzaghe would do him.

 

Outboxed Dirrell? He won 3 rounds max and that's being generous. I've thoroughly watched this fight including watching exchanges in slow motion, rewatching certain rounds, etc. which is a lot more then can be said for the vast majority of fans. I paid extra close attention to clean, effective punching as your supposed which Dirrell dominated through most of the fight.

 

I thought Froch won handily

Dirrel would hold Froch would punch it was ugly but Froch gutted it out

Dirrel had moments but his lack of engaging and constant begging for referee support left him open to Froch who out worked him

 

Ward isn't stopping anyone, come on. I give him a slight edge in this fight but Ward by stoppage is next to impossible, the guy couldn't stop glass chin wide open Miranda!!

You have to be seriously biased to say Froch really won that fight with Dirrell .

I agree , that fight was 110% robbery .

Froch was frustrated, dirty ,and ineffective the whole night . Constant rabbit punches ,throwing Dirrell to the floor . Then they want to say Dirrell was the negative one...

 

What the **** is all this 'superior athete' obsessional crap with Americans? And it's not just you Joker, you all go on about it. This isn't the Decathlon, it's fighting. Most of Joe Calzaghe's opponents were probably superior athetes to him, so what?

 

It's very disappointing that Ward has/will have all of his S6 fights in his home country. Even if he beats Froch, which I doubt, his winning of the tournament will forever be tainted by his unwillingness to test himself in hostile and difficult enviroments. Fighting away was good enough for all the other original participants, so why not Ward?
