Arrogant, boring and a dirty fighter.

 

Great fighter one of the best of his era. I actually thought he should've won fighter of the decade over pbf.

Andre Ward was one of the most mentally tough fighters I've ever seen. Moved up in weight and took on the biggest bully and scariest man in boxing kovalev in a fight he was picked to get ktfo in got dropped then took the fight to him. Wards mental toughness was his greatest asset imo. He's self belief was second to none even superior to froch another iron willed fighter in his own right.

 

i used to dislike andre, but he earned my respect. he gave enough people a chance to knock him off his perch, and they couldnt. he is a champion. i also like to listen to his perspective on commentary. he has a high boxing iq, technically and strategically.

 

Let's be honest, no one will buy Ward's book just like in his prime he couldn't sell out a high school gym in Oakland.

It's unbelievable how highly rated some of you place Ward. At 168, he has only a handful good wins. And just controversial win over Kov at 175. Some of you guys just LOVE to asskiss undefeated boxers....as if that has ANY reflection on your knowledge.

 

Why do you love hate? Bro are you okay?

 

I've never understood that stupid ****. "Yay!!! They hate who I love who happens to be undefeated, they much be so mad!!!" It's like mentally ill children wrote the stupidest sports screenplay about today's sports world...

 

Because it means he pissed off alot of people who dont like him for being too good. Those same people now still mad and bitter making excuses just like they did years ago and they still haven't gotten over it and never will. Andre ward is in their heads and proved them all wrong he's in the hof and an atg while they on here still crying and hating.

 

So you enjoy hate and pissed off people? Also you enjoy the fact that a man you don't know, proved other people you don't know, to be wrong and this pleases you?

Could you expand on why you enjoy these things please? How does knowing that make you feel?

Do you feel better about yourself because you saw something others didn't in Mr. Ward?

 

Wouldn't it easier to just, you know, not give a damn about them??

 

Yes I do. This is a boxing forum and people here hate to give an ounce of credit to boxers they don't like not only that they have excuses and it's pathetic. If a guy is great he's great give him his due and move on. If you pick a guy to beat a fighter many others said he would never fight and if he did would get ktfo and when they fight the guy you picked delivers you'd feel some type of way to.
