Soirée No Limit XI: Yvan Mendy vs. Jaider Parra & Mathieu Bauderlique vs. Hugo Kasperski RBR

Bauderlique staying cautious behind the southpaw jab. Kasperski seems eagerer to mix it up, reaching around with scything rights below the left elbow, thudding into the hem of Bauderlique's trunks.

10-9 Kasperski, simply doing more, and caught many of Bauderlique's jabs by clasping his gloves over them just as they were making their final approach.

 

Bauderlique's a sneaky, cheeky boy - the slow motion replays shows that he was frequently stomping the front half of his right foot over Kasperski's left's toes, a subtle attempt to hinder Kasperski's movement while circling around him, but Kasperski would just yank his leg free and replant it each time.

This is pretty good matchmaking.

Bauderlique found a home for the long lead left, but Kasperski was also able to slip it at times and swerve inside to commit some mayhem.

Triple hook combo, left-right-left, and Kasperski goes down! Well shit, maybe I was wrong, maybe at least one of these feather-fists is just glass-jawed enough to get iced by the other.

Bauderlique showing killer instinct here, Kasperski on shaky legs and getting batted around like a ball of string by a cat.

Kasperski makes it through round four without going down, but only just. Still throwing some body jabs and short uppercuts of his own here and there, so the ref isn't looking ready to jump in just yet.

I can't see Kasperski surviving another eight rounds of this, provided Bauderlique is able to keep up this pace with his pressure onslaught.

 

Kasperski runs, the crowd boos. They already were very firmly on Bauderlique's side in this, and now they want blood.

 

...and, Kasperski bottles it. Curls up and turns his back against the ropes while Bauderlique is pounding him, and the ref does in fact jump in.

TKO5!!!

 

Honestly a pretty nice domestic/Euro level run of form that Bauderlique is on, since Dragan Lepei blitzed him 2½ years ago.

 

"La Volonté" has jacked his KO ratio up to a nice round 50%, and officially netted stoppages in the double-digits.
