Haymon the best manager for FIGHTERS in the game, but for the fans he is worse than smallpox. GGG can't get Cotto, Soliman, Quillen, Chavez Jr., or Murray close to a ring with him. Ward is under contract with Goosen until Nov. 2016. Best just to move up for either Kessler or Froch if possible. Too good for his own good.

Does that mean taylor would have a shot at a world title? making him back in the picture? making it more possible for him to get KO'd again?

    I hope not
taylor's losses to froch and Abraham at the death were worrying to say the least

i'm not liking the thought of Jermane fighting at world level again. he's been through enough. give it up, man. if it ends badly, that's not good for you or your family.

    It's all about risk/reward.

Good for Taylor's family, but bad for Taylor's personal health.

I don't hate Soliman vs. Taylor, honestly. :conf

Soliman is a weak champ, and Taylor is about the level he can be competitive with. If he loses and hot-potatoes the belt into Taylor's hands you can bet your ass it'll make its way into the hands of another titlist in no time in another quick hot-potato, since Taylor has a name and has been angling to get back into a big money fight and would have an in with a belt.

    I agree with this assessment.

Taylor came out recently and said "damn with the legacy" and spoke about his desire to earn as much money as possible for his family with no regards for how fans he has never met will view him (and to be honest in my opinion this is almost always the correct POV to have; unless you are a HOF-level famous fighter). So yes, you know he will toss it up in short time for someone who ponies up the most dollars, and hopefully one who deserves it.

I expect Soliman to outpoint him, though.

Taylor beats Soliman, gets destroyed by GGG or Cotto. Quillin is garbage and I would not be stunned if Taylor could beat him.

To be honest, Taylor will get his pick of who to unify with. All the champs will want him.

Taylor literally suffered a brain-bleed. I'm all for his right to earn money but there's a limit.

Soliman is no puncher. He is less dangerous than Truax.

This is hardly the most Taylor has risked his own health just in his comeback.

Taylor will walk through Soliman's shots and land his. I think Taylor can win a close decision or stop him late.
