meh, in all honesty, Mayorga is tight with King, it is a pure King card and isnt widely televised. Not trying to jump to the worst possible conclusion but... it wouldnt suprise me.

He could have. The referee didn't make the universal hand gesture for "1 point" - or if he did it was not shown onscreen (or maybe I blinked).

I didn't see anything that looked like a foul. :conf

Mayorga was headhunting, and Walker had his hands up but was getting crushed until he just went down. It looked pretty innocuous.

Well man, I have to say I really really enjoyed it, first and foremost. Both of these guys showed what sums them up nicely as fighters at this stage so far, and they both fought to their strengths, with each guy revealing something about the other. Maidana revealed that Khan has guts, and has heart, and the will to win that is refreshing to see. (IMO) And Khan revealed that Maidana has the heart and guts to peel himself off the canvas by a punch and knockdown that would probably have had most fighters hearing '10' and going home early and dissapointed.

Both showed some heavy weaknesses, but nothing we didnt already know. Thought it was a terrific fight between two peers and one of the 'must have fights' in boxing and am thankful for those two having stepped up and squared off.

    Round 1

Zuniga comes in very low with body jabs. Cloud patiently circles with him and blocks the jabs while planting his own on the exposed top of Zuniga's head. Cloud tries to bang him with a few quick right hands before he slips out as well. Zuniga is making himself slippery, either folding his body up and bowing out at angles or leaning his head into Cloud's left bicep. Cloud pushes him off and starts to try to put a combo together. Zuniga throws windmill rights and then hides his head in Cloud's armpit or walks backward in a crouch.

    Round 2

Cloud jabs nice and straight, while Zuniga keeps whipping both his arms high overhead before gravity brings them free-falling in Cloud's general direction (but not making contact). Zuniga now tries to go back to his sneaky body attack from the outside, crouching and leading with the right this time. Cloud is pretty much anticipating all of Zuniga's offensive maneuvers and trying to counter off them. Zuniga isn't a willing target, constantly moving. Cloud starts to take bigger strides to close the gap faster and steps a bit more laterally to slowly but surely cut the ring off. Before Zuniga knows it he's been backed into the ropes and Cloud is trying to size him up for something big so Zuniga shoots in to muck up the works. They get separated and Cloud immediately comes at Zuniga hard with his fists taking the shortest path to Zuniga's head.

    20-18 Cloud
