    Fitness & progress

Forget his injury, when is Solis going to step up and fight opponents the level of Manuel Charr or Cedric Boswell?

His last genuine comeback fight was against a half decent foe coming of a decent win. This is just garbage. Oner should have fed him Pala if he couldn't find anybody else.

    This, but it's unlike,y 230, more like

It is going to take him a decent amount of time to healthily get down to that weight though, if that jut means getting rounds in & paying the bills for a bit that's fine

Much rather that then turn up in hideous shape to a serious fight

Solis is 32 years old man, this is the sort of opponent a 22 year old prospect should be fighting

and for those of you saying he needs to get down to 225, NOT HAPPENING

he weighed 258 in his debut 5 years ago as a 27 year old, he's never been below 245 as a pro, he's not getting down to 220 as a 32 year old man, it's not happening.

He'll not really get any lower than 240, maybe 235. Which would be a fine weight imo. He's in his 30's now and isn't going to be fighting anywhere near his AM weight.

Around 10lbs of fat striped of this would be fine. Solis's stamina did actually look good in his last fight that went 12 rounds which was encouraging considering how much extra weight he was carrying.

If he wins this next fight  and then goes onto to beat a top 20 followed by top 10 fighter he should be in a position to challenge for Charr's belts in lthe second half of 2013

    225-230, but that's unrealistic

the same weight he had vs Vitali, he looked comfortable enough

pointless fight for Solis, ****ing off from the IBF tourney to face a D level opponent

After his last fight Solis was told Adamek was next. But the polish refused, then they told him it will be Pulev( we know what happened), they tried Fury, boystsov, even Oquendo...but nobody wants to fight fat Solis...why?
