I remember people touting Solis as having dominated the few minutes of action. It never made any sense. He did no such thing.

He was competitive with Vitali Klitshcko, which in those days was a rare sight...but I actually thought he lost the round even without the KD/O. :conf

Vitali beat him even before the fight. Big Klit scared La Sombra so bad he ate himself into morbid obesity that made his knee blow up. Solis cant stop eating to this day. He runs to the buffet every time he hears letter V.

Hatred can blind a lot of people... I had Vitali up as well, Solis was holding his own but it was the opening round ffs... Nothing to gloat about.

Vitali knocked BBQ ribs out of Solis. It was Kirk Johnson 2.0 except Kirk lasted longer.

 

Look I'm not even a Vitali fan, but there is no doubt in my mind that he was in route to given that whale called Solis a beat down.

 

Well it wasn't going to be Klitschko vs. Peter (though Solis was even fatter, he was far more skilled) but Klitschko was probably on his way to a UD.
