throw the right uppercut sure but you gotta mix it up cause Solis caught on to it. Countered with a left hook and knocked him the f out! damn. bad advice. You go in throwing just one uppercut at a time, you'll get caught with a hook for sure. Burnett ain't Margarito
20-25 less pounds and you're looking at a different fighter, in a good way. at 260, he's a poor man's Povetkin.
You guys need to learn to spot talent. He has obvious top 10 level skills. Throws his punches almost textbook perfect. Good balance. Power. There's a lot to like there. The 1000 pound elephant (so to speak) is the conditioning. Like Arreola, if he can drop the weight, he's a contender for sure. Twenty fewer pounds would mean a lot more quickness and ring activity. You can see the obvious potential there.
Definitely. It's just frustrating to see the talent there and have it undermined by something the fighter can control. Solis looks great in exchanges and has a natural feel for the game you can't really teach.
At 259.5 lbs, and standing 6 foot 1.5, he's about 30 pounds over weight, in my opinion. What a letdown, this guy is. Somewhat skilled, I admit, but he looks to have the power of Corrie Spinks.
