Damm, only 3 pounds ??? He let me down. I was really hoping for him to at least come around 260lbs... I really don't know why " or who " is telling him that he is OK at that weight. A good trainer has to realize that he has to shed at least 40 pounds, but I really think that one of the reasons is that they want him to punch harder which he does but his stamina decreases... Still, don't be too hard on judging him as after all he is extremely talented and skilled... Just watch him get rid of Drumond in less than 4 rounds... Solis is a top HV even overweight, just imagine then what a slim Solis is capable of... I still support him all the way and feel that he will definitely be a World Champion, Vitaly is about to retire ( but still, Solis is very capable of beating him ), and the rest of the HV's ( except Wlad ) simply don't compare to him in skills and amateur pedigree...
He is after all a former heavyweight (200 lbs) as an amateur, he really should be weighing no more than 230, which is what he weighed as a super heavyweight in the amateurs.
Dissapointing weigh in by Solis. He doesn't look as heavy from the picture would suggest. But at this stage of his career he needs to start taking his conditioning seriously. It's gonna be a hard struggle for his body to drop to even 250lbs, if he keeps his weight near the 270 or even 280 range...
