I still see people on here saying that in his current state that he could beat guys like Wlad, Fury, Pulev, and Haye :patsch

Lets be honest here. Solis is a joke and would get destroyed by any top HW.... He would get humiliated by Haye and Pulev despite beating them in the amateurs.

If he's gets in good shape, who knows?
He was 246 for Vitali right? And he looked good, was doing well.
He has to get in shape. That is the key.
There is no reason a former NFL player who has sex with little boys should be able to go 10 rounds with you.
What happened to Solis power? As of now,no he is not a top heavyweight. He's a sideshow. An irrelevant sideshow.

I only hope that any of those will man up an accept Solis as an opponent next, now that he is so weak

Hope that they will be eager to get his scalp now ... an ex olimpic champion looks good in anybodys resumee ...

Thats the thing, he WON'T DO THAT. even then, I think his skills have regressed quite a bit over the years from him not taking his career seriously.

At this point, I think Juan Carlos Gomez is a better HW than Solis, as sad as that sounds!

It's not THAT hard to get into shape. You can do it in 3 months if you train hard and eat right. Becomes enjoyable after a while

I disagree with the entire thread and MOST of the criticisms in it.

Solis still has better D and combo punching than most top HWs. His power seems lacking lately, I'll concede that.

But a good fighting wieght for him would be 240. Some guys just dont need to look like underwear models to be good.

Solis, Ruiz Jr, Foreman, Helenius, Chagaev, Potvetkin, Arreola.......all a bit pudgy round the middle, but all very credible top tier HWs.:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

He has the intangibles to be a very good HW, just not the heart. If he gets in there with a Klitschko brother, Haye, Fury, Povetkin etc. He'll be out.

Listen. Solis went LIFE AND DEATH with Larsen, that fight was actually pretty close and Solis was only up by a couple of rounds. Larsen actually has Solis on ***** street a few times and probably could have scored a knockout had he pounced. Solis would get badly outclassed by anybody with a high workrate and skills... He simply does not live the right life style or put enough in at the gym to compete at the highest level.

Do you know what a guy like Pulev would do to Larsen btw? Please go watch his fights with Ustinov and Dimitrenko if you haven't. thats how Pulev would handle Larsen.
