http://www.impre.com/la-gente-dice/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474978862816 Thanks Garfios for this info. Solis says he is shoudnt be back in the ring until 2012,still recovering,he doesnt know where all the buzz is coming about his fight in october. Oner is behind all this ****, i know his knee isnt ready yet. I'll be back later with fresh news.
i have been telling everyone he is not ready....its not a fake injure or conspiracy but Oner wants to cash on him ASAP
oner already did cash in on him..he got lucky with how the fight went down and will prob try and talk his way into another big cash fight without taking on a livewire..this guy oner is one of the major problems heavyweight boxing has and thats is greedy ****ing promoters..its really sad ruining the sport they are
but Oner still believes he can get more money out of Solis and the sooner the better, trying to get him probably next against wlad. And let me tell u this for a fact: solis is a bad ass,he will fight anybody, anywhere. But he isnt ready, i know that for sure, and get him in the ring in october is beyond crazy.Solis is going to germany soon to check with the doctor who did the surgery
if solis is going to fight wlad hed be better waiting 3 years to see if he slows abit..wlad rips solis a complete new one..inhialation :good...
Gotta admit I find the Solis saga depressing, sad on several levels. For a guy so talented and promising, it seems like he's never even had control of his own destiny. I hope Solis can find the energy to make another title run but if he does it's gonna have to come from inside him, and not as a result of pressure from his promoter and his family.
I found it strange when I heard he was already fighting by October considering the severe injury he had and the 6-8 monts rehabilitation period it usually takes. By october he may be declared fit to resume full training, don't expect to see him in action before late November, at the earliest.
Solis needed his legs against Vitali but his knee couldn't take it. His best win remains Monte Barrett. I'd be surprised to see Solis advance far.
If he take good care of himself and gets in shape, he will go far, the guy has natural talent, his best asset is speed but he needs to trim down, the HW division is very weak, IMO is up to him to grab a belt or fade into oblivion.
