I've ruptured my medial and cruciate ligaments in one knee.

Solis (if we believe the doctors report) blew his ACL last night.

Trust me - you will not be able to fight after such an injury.

Now, I want to see the re-match - and I think solis will lose again but he has more than he showed last night.

 No, I knew he'd get beaten up.

There were clear signs in his demeanor before the fight which made me think he had already accepted defeat. Even when the contract was signed, something happened and I thought Oner was essentially cashing in. He didn't lose enough weight and, honestly, I think his performances at heavyweight have been appalling. Anyone who considered him a threat needs to actually watch his fights, rather than pipe on about his amateur career. He actually enjoyed boxing then, so it's a completely different situation.

I don't think so. The two men in the ring agree that the shot wasn't hurtful, so I don't know why people are insisting it was a legit punch. Vitali and Solis agree it wasn't.

Why would he dive though ?, unless your saying he was paid to, well vits reaction tells me he was not in on it, then i say crap. He was doing ok, if on the other hand he had been getting hammered and badly hurt early then yeah he may have thought **** it, but he had just launched an attack, it was a fair punch that caught him off balance and put pressure on his knee as he tried to back up

Yeah, right. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_6825022,00.html

It was clear in the fight he had caused serious damage to his knee. If you think it was a dive, you are ******ed. It is very hard to walk with ACL damage never mind continuing to fight!

I think you are being harsh Jack.

The guy has a serious knee injury which may have ended his career. It is clear in hindsight he was carrying a bad knee injury before the fight. Whether team Solis made an error or it was the sort of injury you can never be sure it is fixed I do not know.

I am sure Vitali was pissed because Vitali felt he had not connected.
I agree with you it was a nothing shot.
I also see Solis actual grab his knee before he hits the canvass which i do not believe you can do if you are dazed by a punch.

I have not heard a quote of Solis saying he took a hard punch so what have you heard?

If Solis did say he took a hard shot 'yes' it could be embarassment.

The fact he has serious knee injury points to it not being a dive. Especial gived he could have broke his left ankle the way he stood on that one before Vitali landed. Nobody in their right mind would ever deliberately stand on their ankle like that, it was at a 50 degree angle. It looks like he got a way with minor ligament damage on his left the right knee is completely gone.

Normally you make a lot of sense Jack, but on this one you stepped over the mark. I would check Solis medical report before commenting further.

This dude never ceases to amaze me...First he makes a big ****ing deal on how Haye's back injury was legit and he didnt have any ****ing proof at all but doesnt want to give the same benifit of the doubt to solis and he actually injury is broken down for the fans to see...Talk about being bias!:patsch

What a ****ing joke!

Victor879 is right about the injury. If very unfair on Solis in my opinon in regard to how Solis fought. Victor I do feel you should give up trying to convince the armchair forum fans who believe what fills their prejuices actual happen e.g. Vitali can knock you out by pushing you with his lttle finger. You will go mad trying to make sensible comments to idiots who choose not to listen.
