Solis: "Vitali is trying to take advantage of me"

What does Solis possibly bring to the table, besides a fork and an empty plate. Nobody cares about this fat ass besides his fellow Cuban's. So why does he expect to make so much money. If he wasn't fighting Vitali, no one would care about him. Dude had to get a DQ victory over Austin. Enough said.

I don't know what the dollars and restrictions are for this fight, but I'd venture to say that Vitali is offering Solis more for this ONE fight that Solis has made in his previous 16 combined.

Nevertheless, if it is to go to a purse bid, maybe Solis could get the rematch Vitali then Wlad clause off the contract, but I doubt he'll get a bigger slice of the pie.

Either way, it'll give him more double quesadillas than he'd ever get fighting any other champion.

 

Solis has no room to bargain, and he doesn't deserve any. He looked TERRIBLE in his last fight, and it's VITALI who has been Champion for years, and defended the title numerous times...NOT SOLIS!

If it goes to purse bid, K2 will win that too, and it will be 70/30 in favor of Vitali....so Solis should just stop whining and take what he can get.

 

I don't understand what he has to cry about. He's the mandatory challenger. He has the option of a guaranteed fight with a guaranteed amount of money as decided by the upcoming purse bid. It sounds like he feels like he deserves more than what will be generated at the bid.

It's Adamek who really deserves the fight anyway....definitely more than Solis.

Adamek in my eyes isthe only guy besides the klitschko's who does it the right way, work yourself up to a heavyweight shot, in shape do your best and is active, solis is pushed in the fight and lacks discipline, haye talked himself into the heavyweight shot.

I think its strange that so many people are having trouble negotiating with the Klits.

Yet in this case i think 70/30 is a fair split. Vitali is the champion, the draw. Solis should be grateful for his shot.

 

Solis, as the mandatory, has absolutely no bargaining room. It all favors the Champ (as it should). At purse bid Solis gets 30%. Those are the rules, and he's whining about them.

A few thoughts:

That is the whole point of a purse bid if the two sides can't come to an agreement for a Mandatory fight. Solis better be careful he might end up getting LESS money if it goes to a purse bid than he is being offered now I think the WBC purse split is 75/25 for the champion/challenger.

Why does Solis keep talking about his amateur career? This is like the 10th time I have seen it mentioned by him. Nobody cares this is the Pro game which is totally different.

If he really means what he says shut up take the money and win the belt THEN you can get huge paydays and dictate the terms.

BTW, Vitali is going to beat this guy to a pulp.

Or, Team Solis think that K2 will make a high bid and they will get more money in a purse split they could be doing this on purpose who knows. I know they know that they have ZERO shot at outbidding K2.
