Not so sure of that. Solis is fighting some good level of competition in not many fights. Remember Solis had to defect from Cuba to even go Professional. Solis is someone to watch out for in the heavyweight scene.
Solis can't get in shape for his fights. Haye would beat him badly these days. I don't see Solis being a threat at heavyweight unless he starts behaving like an athlete.
I think Solis is still a threat to a lot of guys simply because of the weakness of the division and there are a lot of guys who arent in much better shape then he is. But he cant expect to reach the top with that waistline...Just look out his amatuer form on film compared to his pro form on film..he looks worse even against a far lower level of opposition. He shouldnt have trouble with a guy like Beck but Id be very suprised if he could go all the way in the shape he is in.
