I dont understand your point. Wlad Klitschko fought at 201 lbs too, then went up to superheavyweight, won a major tournament at superheavy and fights at a little over 240.

Solis needs to shed alot more than 10 lbs.

More like 25!! He is massively overweight!

It's good that posters are taking note of Solis, he's the next...Gil Martinez.

I thought the pictures might have given it away, in the first pic he looks in very good shape, in the second pic he looks very fat.

Haye stopped Macca in spectacular fashion and by way of a very impressive ko.He deserves respect for his accomplishments at cruiser weight.
Nevertheless he didnt beat the "best" cruiserweights nor did he defeat a genuine top 50 heavy.
Bonin is a Polish journeyman who had to go the full route with an opponent in his last fight who had a fight record of 1-28.Bonin is a Polish no-hoper who has never ever been among the top 50.
Even a european journeyman like Mazikin would beat the living **** out of him.
The best cruisers? Who ? Gourov? A banger with a glass chin.Dont get me wrong! I dont intend to belittle Haye.Gourov is no bum,but he was past his prime when Haye met him.
Ismail Abdoul? A teak tough gatekeeper, but not a top gun.
Giacobbe Fragomeni? The Italian brawler is fun to watch, but isnt even able to win a european belt due to stronger comepetition in his weight division.
Jean Mark Mormeck? A strong and good fighter, but I doubt that a lot of people would have called him the nr.2 or 3 at the time Haye faced him.
Maccarinelli? A overrated fellow Brit with a padded record. He needed 3 rounds to stop an New Zealand based Arab no-hoper.Young talent Hernadez took that journeyman out in the very first round.By the way Hernandez is scheduled to face another victime of Macca,Wayne Braithwaite.Bet my house that Hernandez will look better against Wayne than Macca did.
Haye has a fine collection of skalps, but he hasnt proved **** at heavy weight so far.And he for sure hasnt beaten the best fighters at cruiser weight.

Err, what? Well, you're technically right in that a 'lot of people' didn't call Mormeck number 2 or 3. They called him number one. Who the hell was number one if Mormeck wasn't?

    Fragomeni is the European champion.

Well it is not that a big difference. It is almost the same imo.
Cruiserweight is -91 kilograms and everything > 91 is heavyweight.

So if haye fights at let's say 88 kilograms he only has to ''add'' 3 kilograms to be a heavyweight.

Some guys that pretend he has a to weak chin is kind of ridiculous, look what Byrd achieved, he came from super-welterweight(!!!!), and toney.
Those guys were/are waaaaaaayy smaller then Haye.

His chin might not be like concrete but isn't boxing about HIT and not GETTING hit????
